Put together by 44 of the hardest working engineers, mechanics, fabricators, and commercial staff in motorsport, Schmidt Peterson Motorsports fields two full-time entries in the Verizon IndyCar Series. The Honda  Indy V6 engine is a 2.2 liter, twin turbocharged 12,000 rpm that powers the Dallara UAK-18 chassis through some of the most grueling circuits around North America.

With teams running near identical machines, every thousandth of a second matters and can decide the difference between winning championships or coming up short. At Schmidt Peterson Motorsports, precision and preparation are as vital as real-time evaluation.

The team and their technical partners are not only dedicated to becoming the highest performing team, but the most dedicated to innovation and technology. From big data storage and transferring of telemetry from engineer to driver, to engineering and calibrating aerodynamic performance to an Indy car sustaining a four-lap average around the Indianapolis Motor Speedway at 230.760 mph with a rear-wing angle less than nine degrees.
