Chassis Technician

The Chassis Technician works together in a team-first environment to service and maintain Arrow SPM’s Indy cars. The main tasks in this position are to perform chassis setups, engine changes, crack check components, rebuild components, maintenance of the fuel cell, adhere to the life cycle of all components and generally make sure the car is consistently operating at the maximum mechanical performance and reliability. The technician may have the opportunity participate in pit stops. This role requires an organized professional with excellent communication skills and meticulous attention to detail in all areas associated with this position.

Arrow SPM is looking for highly motivated professionals who will work to find solutions in a progressive and cooperative team atmosphere while adhering to tight deadlines and remaining calm in high pressure situations.

Previous motorsports experience is preferred but not required.

Commercial Coordinator

This position is accountable for assisting in the accomplishment of the goals set out for the Commercial Department.

The Coordinator reports to the Director, Partner Strategy. The Coordinator communicates with all departments within Arrow SPM and, with direction, with specific Partners. The Coordinator will assist the Commercial team in elevating consistency across the department and supporting Partnership Services mission of program management excellence and growth of Partner programs, therefore ensuring increased efficiency and profitability.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Create Schedules for each INDYCAR event weekend, consolidating data from multiple sources within the organization
  • Create Executive Briefs for each INDYCAR event weekend
  • IndyCar Credential and licensing administration
  • Assist in planning and executing partner activation
  • Assist in hospitality management including but, not limited to Club 5 Arrow SPM hospitality, Month of May and special events
  • Create and produce Schedule Cards for each INDYCAR event weekend
  • Coordinate “Family Day” activities at IMS
  • Meeting notes and action item creation for weekly commercial meeting and other meetings as requested
  • Support at-track events
  • New business research support
  • Manage apparel inventory and distribution
  • Support Commercial department in general administration

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Superior organization, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to think on your feet and use your initiative
  • You enjoy learning new things and can quickly adapt when things change
  • You’re a natural at building a rapport with just about anyone at any level in an organization
  • You thrive on working on multiple projects at any one time
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Software (PowerPoint, Excel and Word)
  • Strong problem-solving skills and can find creative solutions to challenges
  • You are patient, level headed and cool under pressure
  • You are a real team player
  • Ability to travel to NTT INDYCAR races throughout the season
  • Bachelor’s Degree focus on Business, Sports Marketing, Event Planning or Hospitality preferred
  • 1-3 years of relevant work experience preferred
